The Hardest Case I Ever Had

Presented by Dr. Moira Hechenleitner, DVM, CSAT

Every separation anxiety case is complex in its own way. What works for one dog doesn't work for another. Identifying and honoring the dog's learning style, the circumstances, context and environment surrounding the case, as well as the medical and behavior challenges that the dog might be experiencing parallel to their separation anxiety struggles is crucial for a successful outcome.

On this two-hour webinar we will deep dive on a case of a dog called Muenster. This is THE hardest case I have been able to support up to full resolution. From beginning to end, with all its intricacies, set backs and break throughs. It's the case that inspired different training formats, such as the "predictable training format" (also known as the unconventional approach from one of my previous webinars), that I have then successfully applied to many other cases. It opened the door to witness how dog's learning styles and needs can truly have an impact on whether a training format is helpful or not.

The lessons Muenster and his guardian taught me will provide new ideas and strategies to implement on your own separation anxiety cases, as well as reflect on the profound effects of holding space as we witness the unfolding of a dog's potential.

📅  This webinar will be live on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 at 7:00 PM EST
